Our Response to Covid-19

The Covid-19 Pandemic has encompassed all aspects of life for not only Rileys but our customers, staff and vendors.

Rileys is working diligently to ensure we are joining in to flatten the curve. We are closely monitoring the pandemic in all provinces and are ensuring we are making the safety of our employees, customers and communities a top priority.

The state of emergency has caused the implementation of unique restrictions that have caused us to reflect on our business practices across Canada, brainstorm and implement alternative processes to maintain the safety of everyone.

As an organization, we are following all provincial, federal and community guidelines in regards to operations, social distancing and maintaining a safe work environment.

How are we ensuring the safety of all our customers during the Covid-19 Pandemic?

  • Our eStore and Business Development team are focusing on enhancing our online tools and experience to allow customers to request our products and services from the safety of their homes.

  • Rileys' delivery services are still functioning with new precautions to ensure proper distancing whenever possible and mandatory masks by all our delivery personnel.

  • For customers who prefer to pick up from our location, we offer curbside pick up. Simply call when you arrive and one of our Customer Experience personnel will gladly place your items in your trunk!

  • We are still offering in person services at our locations as well, all employees are required to wear a mask and maintain behind our acrylic shields while assisting our customers.

How are we ensuring the safety of all our vendors during the Covid-19 Pandemic?

  • Rileys is working together to place bulk orders from vendors, eliminating the number of deliveries within our facility.

  • Some of our locations are requiring vendors to deliver goods to a safe public space outside of our buildings to reduce the interaction between customers and staff

  • All vendors are required to leave contact information when arriving so we can ensure we can trace all personnel entering our buildings at all times.

How are we ensuring the safety of all our staff during the Covid-19 Pandemic?

  • Available to all employees are ample resources to combatting the Covid-19 Pandemic including proper hygiene and tips for a healthy immune system including a proper diet, sleep and hydration.

  • Rileys has implemented an online screening system where all employees are required to report on any symptoms and actions daily, as well as take an inventory of PPE including masks, gloves, sanitizer and wipes.

  • Employees are encouraged to stay home when not feeling well.

Rileys will continue to monitor the pandemic closely and maintain our position in the community, proactively combatting the Covid-19 Pandemic. We appreciate the support from our staff, customers and vendors as we work together to flatten the curve.
